The Polson Flathead Historical Museum covers local history of the Flathead Reservation. Located at 708 Main Street in Polson, the museum is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Popular with children are the new hands-on Kids' Korner with activities, books and dress-up, the largest Model Railroad in NW Montana and the Lewis & Clark Expedition Marionettes made by Blanche Harding. Our Native American collection includes a tepee, historical objects and photos. Learn about life in 1910 in the Homesteaders' Kitchen, Bedroom and Schoolroom exhibits. We have trophies and photos since 1917 of Polson High School grads, fire engines,buggies and wagons, lots of photos of early boating on Flathead Lake and Regatta trophies, Edison phonographs plus various pianos and organs and Calamity Jane's saddle. Monday-Saturday 10-5, Sundays 12-3, Kid and Dog Friendly $3.00 Adults, $2.50 Seniors, Children under 12 Free. Group and School Tours are available upon request.

PDC plans Ronan Pioneer Days each year which is a 3 day celebration of western heritage in Ronan Montana. It includes a parade, 3 days of western rodeos, a city slicker rodeo, pancake breakfast, 3 on 3 basketball tournament and is closely planned with the Lake County Fair.
